Overview

Supports Australian participation and collaboration in leading international collaborative research through the e-ASIA Joint Research Program on a multilateral basis. Funding supports projects addressing Infectious Diseases and Immunology (including Antimicrobial Resistance) with up to 3 years of support. Projects must include collaborating partners from at least 3 member organisations across the East Asia region.

Eligibility Requirements

Minimum of 3 collaborating partners from supporting member organisations required per application. Must include a Principal Investigator from at least one of: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam. Lead Principal Investigator submits Common Application to e-ASIA Program Secretariat by 31 March 2025, with Australian team submitting to NHMRC by 2 April 2025.
