Overview

Provides grants of up to $10 million to organisations developing novel and emerging technologies to capture, utilise or remove CO2. Supports pilot and demonstration projects with potential to create new low-emissions or net-zero industries and address Australia's hard-to-abate emissions.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be an Australian incorporated entity, state/territory government agency, or corporate Commonwealth entity with an ABN and GST registration. Projects must be located in Australia, involve research and development of novel CO2 capture/utilisation/removal technologies, have at least $2 million in eligible expenditure, and be completed by 31 March 2031.
