Carbon Capture Use and Storage Development Fund
Overview
Provides grants to businesses and government agencies for pilot projects or pre-commercial projects aimed at reducing emissions through carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS) technologies. Supports projects in energy generation, natural gas or hydrogen production, and heavy industries, with the goal of achieving cost-effective CO2 compression, transport and storage.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be an Australian incorporated trading or financial corporation, foreign corporation, incorporated trustee, or State/Territory Government agency with an ABN. Must provide board/CEO approval and evidence of project funding capacity. Income tax exempt entities, individuals, partnerships, and unincorporated associations are not eligible.
