Overview

This grant program assists businesses, local authorities, industry groups, not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises and research institutions to accelerate transition to a circular economy. Funding supports the design, application and scale-up of innovative circular economy business models, solutions and practices, as well as the production and promotion of recycled content, refurbished or repaired products.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be legally constituted entities including businesses, local government, industry associations, not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises and research institutions. Projects must align with South Australia's Waste Strategy 2020-2025 and clearly demonstrate need for government funding while supporting at least one of three focus areas: circular economy business models, refurbished/recycled products, or market development.

The program includes one-on-one sustainability consultations and a subsidised Business Sustainability Assessment ($500 ex GST) to develop a clear action plan with financial benefits.
