Overview

This program provides low-interest loans to primary producers in Queensland whose assets have been significantly damaged by an eligible disaster. Loans of up to $250,000 over a maximum term of 10 years can be used to repair or replace damaged plant, equipment, farm buildings, livestock, and meet carry-on requirements for re-establishing normal operations.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be primary producers in Queensland with substantial damage to buildings, plant, equipment or stock from an eligible disaster, located in a defined disaster area (or qualify as individually disaster-stricken enterprise), provide adequate security, demonstrate ongoing viability of the enterprise, and have taken reasonable precautions such as adequate insurance.
