Overview
The DRG Program supports those most in need and least able to return their homes to a safe and habitable condition after a natural disaster, particularly low-income earners where damage is not covered by insurance. It provides a safety net for vulnerable community members, contributes toward applicant recovery, and assists in returning to a basic standard of living following natural disasters in NSW.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be low-income earners with damage not covered by insurance, and must meet eligibility criteria outlined in the grant guidelines and FAQs on the NSW Grants and Funding Finder. Grants are assessed on eligibility basis rather than entitlement.
