Freight Subsidies for Disaster Affected Primary Producers QLD
Overview
Provides freight subsidies to Queensland primary producers located in disaster-declared areas for transporting materials including emergency fodder, stock removal, building and fencing materials, and restocking animals. Subsidies of up to $5,000 per disaster event are available to help affected producers recover from declared disasters.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be primary producers in the grazing industry (beef cattle, sheep, dairy cattle, goats, deer or horses) whose property is located within a disaster-declared area under DRFA or holds an IDSP declaration. Must be a property owner, share-farmer or lessee, and spend more than 50% of labour and derive more than 50% of gross income from the primary production enterprise.
