Overview
This grant provides funding up to $50,000 for production-ready game development projects where the end user/target market and revenue streams can be confidently quantified. Screen Tasmania will fund up to 50% of development costs, with recoupment occurring at 25% of game sales revenue plus a 10% premium, though recoupment only occurs if the game generates sales.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be a Tasmanian resident development/production company or Tasmanian practitioner as part of a Tasmanian-based team. Projects must be substantially produced in Tasmania and include at least one team member with a lead credit on a previously published interactive screen project. Applicants must discuss their project with Screen Tasmania staff before submitting an application.
