Overview

Funding supports common user infrastructure projects to facilitate private investment and rejuvenation of Great Keppel Island. Projects include a gateway precinct with visitor centre, boardwalks and walking track improvements, wayfinding and interpretative signage incorporating Woppaburra heritage, and a wastewater treatment plant with amenities.

Eligibility Requirements

Projects are being delivered by Livingstone Shire Council and partner organisations as part of the Great Keppel Island (Woppa) Concept Master Plan. The Woppaburra Land Trust and Maritime Safety Queensland are also involved in specific project components.
