Overview

This program provides eligible Queensland owner-operated businesses with a 15% rebate on water bills issued by Seqwater, Sunwater, and Burnett Water for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 financial years. The scheme aims to lower the cost of water supplied for commercial irrigation by owner-operated primary production businesses.

Eligibility Requirements

Businesses must be QLD owner-operated with at least one owner providing labour, have at least one owner declaring primary production income, grow crops requiring irrigation, not be wholly or partly owned by excluded entities, and have evidence of payment for water bills from Seqwater or Sunwater for the specified financial years.

Loans can be used to repair or replace damaged plant, equipment, farm buildings, livestock, and meet carry-on requirements to re-establish normal operations.
