Overview

This grant provides financial assistance to support medical research and medical innovation projects that are consumer-led and co-designed. It includes two streams: an Incubator stream for identifying health priorities and conducting pilot studies, and a Targeted Call for Research stream for developing scalable approaches to self-care interventions and improving quality of life. Research topics focus on cancer, long-term physical diseases, or mental health challenges.

Eligibility Requirements

Applications will only be accepted from approved MRFF Eligible Organisations listed on the NHMRC website. Applicants must satisfy all requirements set out in the Medical Research Future Fund – PPHRI – 2026 Consumer-Led Research Grant Opportunity Guidelines.
