The Queensland Government is investing $4.97 million to support Salvos Stores to establish a cutting-edge circular economy textile hub in Brisbane. The facility will install Australia's first automated textiles sorting and decontamination solution, with the ability to sort donated textiles into material type and remove buttons and zippers for further recycling and reuse.
