Overview

An eleven-year, $60.85 million State Government investment program that provides up to $250,000 per project to support locally-driven initiatives in regional Western Australia. The grants fund projects that promote sustainable jobs, workforce solutions, productivity, skills development, and industry diversification across the Goldfields-Esperance region.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be a legal entity with an Australian Business Number (ABN) and an account with an authorised deposit-taking institution. Ineligible applicants include State/Federal Government Agencies, Government Trading Enterprises, Schools, Hospitals, and certain Trustees. Funding cannot be used for retrospective payments, ongoing operational costs, existing staff salaries, or operational overheads.

The scheme helps fill labour gaps in rural and regional Australia while providing employment opportunities for Pacific and Timor-Leste workers.
