Screen Queensland Digital Games Incentive
Overview
This incentive attracts games development projects to Queensland and supports local developers as well as international games companies establishing new studios in the state. The incentive provides up to 15% of eligible Queensland Game Development Expenditure (QGDE) for qualifying game projects with a minimum spend of AU$250,000.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be companies with an ABN paying Queensland resident game developers to work on a game, with a minimum qualifying expenditure of AU$250,000. Development teams must be made up of genuine Queensland residents (resident for at least 2 months). Eligible game formats include entertainment games, premium and free-to-play games, live-ops development, and games for mobile, PC/Mac, console, and VR/AR intended for public release.
