Overview

This grant provides funding to support the establishment of space launch facilities in Western Australia. Funding may be used for site assessments (environmental impact, heritage, bushfire risk, hydrology, launch and re-entry trajectory analysis) and business case development (market analysis, technical and financial feasibility, infrastructure requirements, risk assessments).

Eligibility Requirements

Businesses must have or be eligible for an ABN, be a legal entity registered for at least 3 years, operate in the space industry, be solvent, intend to establish a spaceport in WA with site works commencing before 31 December 2029, and contribute at least 50% of project funding costs.
