Overview

This grant helps women with low or no income overcome barriers to employment and build independence through paid work. It funds course fees, study resources, work clothing, transport costs, digital devices, childcare, and job readiness costs to support women in returning to the workforce.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must identify as a woman (including cisgender, transgender, and non-binary people who identify as women), be 19 years or older (or younger if financially independent), live in the ACT or nearby areas, have low or no income, have legal right to work in Australia, and have a clear plan to secure employment within 6 months. Cannot have previously received this grant or be on maternity/other leave.
