Game on for Change – Preventing Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence through Sport
Overview
This program empowers all levels of the sporting sector to prevent domestic, family and sexual violence by building capacity and capability to address gendered drivers of violence. It supports evidence-based prevention initiatives, strengthens partnerships between sport and primary prevention sectors, and ensures inclusive and responsive approaches across sporting environments.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include incorporated community-based or not-for-profit organisations, NSW-based professional sporting organisations, local government authorities, private enterprises, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations, Local Aboriginal Land Councils, and Australian universities with NSW campuses. Applicants must provide Public Liability Insurance with minimum $5 million cover. Ineligible applicants include individuals, P&C associations, for-profit commercial organisations (except professional sports), government departments, schools, TAFEs, and organisations not compliant with the National Redress Scheme.
