Overview
This program provides funding to support the delivery of major events in Canberra that bring substantial economic benefit through tourist visitation and visitor spend. Funding supports events that provide marketing opportunities for the Canberra region and high-quality experiences that enhance the Canberra brand while engaging diverse communities.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be event organisers delivering events in Canberra with a current Australian Business Number (ABN) and Public Liability Insurance of at least $20 million per incident. Funding is not available for conferences, individual persons, capital projects, or events staged predominantly outside Canberra.
