Overview

The fellowship program supports early-mid-career researchers employed in the ACT Health system to build research capability and make high-value contributions to improving health and healthcare. The ACT Government made $1 million available through the program in 2022–23.

Loose-Fill Asbestos Disease Support Scheme

This scheme makes payments to Canberrans who have developed an asbestos-related disease from living in a loose-fill asbestos insulation affected home (also known as 'Mr Fluffy' properties). Financial support covers out-of-pocket expenses including medical costs, loss of earnings, home/vehicle modifications, care services, and support for financial dependents.
